I had a pleasant stay with a friendly staff and enjoyed well-prepared breakfast options. the room was quite warm, and the cleaning service was inconsistent, as my room was only partially serviced during my three nights. It's a good option for families needing space and a decent dining experience, but improvements on room maintenance would enhance the overall experience.

Exceptional breakfast choices, especially the freshly baked bread paired with smoked salmon. Carvery dining experience delivers beautifully cooked meats with generous portions, sure to fill you up and warm your heart.
Finding the entrance nearly drove me crazy. it's on a roundabout where GPS claims you’ve arrived, but you might miss it if you're not careful. The noise level was utterly ridiculous. the soundproofing between rooms is practically non-existent. I heard every cough and sneeze from the neighbors. Room felt cramped without a lift, making lugging luggage up the stairs a tough chore, especially after a long day.

Comfortable stay with great dining options
I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay, where the highlight was the excellent dining experience. The cooked breakfast, featuring freshly baked items and a variety of options, was a terrific way to start the day, especially the generous portions of the carvery. The staff were exceptionally friendly, contributing to a warm atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One area for improvement might be the ventilation in the rooms, as it got a bit warm during the night.

The freshly baked bread at breakfast was top-notch, paired with smoked salmon that’ll make your taste buds dance! Plus, the carvery’s selection of meats was beautifully cooked and just spot on. Such a delightful eating experience!
It got quite warm in the room, and one of us battled with a window that just wouldn’t budge! no lift made moving luggage a bit of a trek, especially during graduation week.

Charming, Cozy, Comforting
The garden area is a total gem, especially when the evening lights come on—creating the perfect romantic vibe! And can we talk about the breakfast? The sausages were herby and delicious, just like a good butcher's should be. Plus, the quick access to the city's historic sites makes every moment worthwhile!

Had a nice couple of nights here. The staff were super friendly, especially the lady at reception who gave us tips on getting to town. Our room was warm and cozy with comfy beds and fresh linens. The breakfast choices were great too! Just could’ve used a bit more character on the outside of the building.
